The Archons are the supreme entities of the world. There are 9 sets of Archons that represents different concepts with each one representing the good and bad of that concept. From Order and Chaos to Life and Death. Since each set represent the balance between their individual concept then the Abominations (The Old Ones). They represent the imbalance of the concept.
The archons are:
Chaos, Order, Life, Death, Creation, Destruction, Light, Darkness, Time, Eternity, Dreams, Reality, Knowledge, Oblivion, Purity, Decay, Space, and Void.

Whisperer of Discord, The Deathless, The Silent Desolation, The Grey Shadow, The Endless Stagnation, Waking Nightmare, The Great Deceiver, The Crimson Corruption, The Great Devourer.
